Counter Sales
Counter Sales Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service that leads to an ongoing relationship and continuing sales including answer the phone and assist instore customers.
- Pulling orders for delivery and reviewing for accuracy (up to 50 lbs.)
- Receiving product deliveries and comparing the purchase orders to the received goods.
- Ability and willingness to learn products.
- Maintains store merchandise and appearance.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Help customers identify product needs.
- Assist with training seminars.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
Required Attributes
- 1 Year of College
- Driver License and reliable transportation
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-starter with desire and aptitude to learn
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task
Physical Requirements
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
- Ability to operate a forklift (we will train)
- Ability to climb small ladders
- Regular exposure to the elements.
Preferred Attributes
- Previous retail or counter sales
- Customer service experience
- Construction or Concrete product experience
- Experienced with any of the following QuickBooks, Lightroom, WordPress, and Photoshop
